Here’s the real story
I stayed one night in a spacious twin room with air conditioning and incredibly comfy beds. While there was no hot water, I adapted easily. The standout was the amazing Korean-Japanese fusion restaurant downstairs, which offered a delicious buffet breakfast with plenty of vegetarian options. Highly recommend it!

We enjoyed our stay, especially with the free WiFi everywhere, which kept the kids entertained. The large dog felt right at home, and we loved the included breakfast buffet, which offered both hot and cold options.
In my wife’s opinion, the bathroom could use a few hooks for towels.

The location of Hotel Columbus is exceptional, right near Sabana Park. The vintage charm of the building adds character. My King Room on the top floor was clean, and the view was delightful. Breakfast offered a great variety with fresh fruit and delicious hot options. Unfortunately, the front desk hours were unclear, making check-in a bit frustrating. Accessing the hotel is cumbersome since the front door remains locked, requiring staff assistance. It made me feel a bit uneasy. Overall, paying for two nights to enjoy the comfort before my flight home felt worth it.

The room was spacious and clean with two fans to keep cool, which was more than bearable in the heat. Plus, there’s this amazing Korean place on the ground floor, had some of the best food I've tasted in a long time!
Not exactly a bargain, but still reasonable for what you get.

I loved that this spot has a charming old church vibe, and the breakfast spread is fantastic with plenty of options, including gallo pinto. It’s super relaxing here with a lovely outdoor patio and cozy lounge area to unwind. Just a heads up, the shower had a bit of low water pressure, but it didn’t ruin my experience. 😊
